While Andy faces news that her boyfriend Sam’s ex is pregnant with his child on ABC’s Rookie Blue, she gets close to an unlikely colleague.

Marlo & Sam Work On Co-Parenting, How Will Andy Handle It?

Andy and Juliet are set to have a deep conversation on the third episode of the upcoming sixth season. Juliet is dating Nick, the man that Andy left to be with Sam. The two ladies are forced to work together after being assigned to the same case. All hell breaks loose after a riot occurs at the ladies prison where they are supposed to be doing a transfer.

Co-Executive Producer Sherry White said there’s a reason they paired Andy and Juliet together.

“The theme of the episode is that you really get to know a person when you’re stuck in a box with them. So everybody in the episode is kind of stuck with the person they’re with… It was a good way to get Andy to see a different side to Juliet. Because we want to build intrigue about who she is.”

Juliet doesn’t waste any time letting Andy know how she feels about Nick, and Andy is quite surprised. Erin Karpluk said that Andy is definitely in protective mode for Nick and watching out for her character, Juliet. It doesn’t take long for Juliet to prove that Andy was right for having suspicions about her.

“Andy has her eye on my character because she doesn’t want Nick to get her. My character is very inconsistent for her. Because she does catch me in a lie.”

Missy Peregrym who plays Andy said she doesn’t think him moving on with Juliet is a good idea. “But who am I? To really say that to Nick?”

Still, Andy confronts Juliet for the lie she caught her in.

“Hey if you’re still looking for a good reason to avoid dating Nick I’ve got one for you. You’re a liar.”

As for Peregrym and Karpluk’s relationship off camera, they get along great!
