Corey Simms' pursuit for custody of his twins is only for their best interest, he claims.

Jeff Simms Praises Corey's Parenting Amid 'Teen Mom 2' Drama With Ex-Wife Leah Messer

As his custody battle with Leah Messer over their 5-year-old twin girls, Ali and Aleeah, plays out on Teen Mom 2, Simms insists he's not just giving his ex-wife a hard time.

"All the stuff I'm doing, I'm not doing it to be a pr**k ... [It's] just to give them the best lives possible," Simms explained in a new sneak peek, via a report by Kpop Starz on Wednesday.

In a separate report this week, it was revealed that while Simms may have a case against Messer with recent eisodes of Teen Mom 2, he isn't legally allowed to use MTV footage as evidence in their custody case.

“Legally, Corey can’t use the footage from the show against Leah, no matter how damning,” an insider told The Ashley's Reality Roundup on Wednesday. “Nothing in the show can be used in court by parties that have signed contracts. The reason is because in the contracts it says that MTV has the right to portray things however they want.”

“The contracts state that the show may not depict a whole truth,” the source explained. “So when Corey tried [to use the episodes] as evidence in court, the judge said no right off the bat.”
