It appears that even though Rick (Andrew Lincoln) may be taking things over in Alexandria on the upcoming season of The Walking Dead, the residents behind the walls could still be in epic danger from what lurks outside.

Norman Reedus Dishes On 'Wild Animals' Versus 'Civilization'

In a first sneak peek clip from the Oct. 11 season premiere, Sasha (Sonequa Martin-Greene) and Abraham (Michael Cudlitz) are outside the community's walls and driving at fast speeds to a distance far away. And though Abraham is initially concerned about Sasha's mental state, which is still fragile after losing both Bob and Tyreese in a short time span, the two are quickly distracted by the 'big' thing they are going after.

"Listen, doing something as big as this, that's living," Sasha says in the clip.

Is Negan Headed To 'TWD?'

It's unclear just what big thing the two are up to or what it's in reference to, but whether or not it's about Rick or for him , the actor who portrayed Tyreese (Chad L. Coleman) thinks that if his character were still around, he would have tried to be the voice of reason in Rick's ear as he tried taking over the town.

"Everything's predicted off of Rick, so Iy Tyreese was present then the challenges that Rick needed to go through would have been impeded," Coleman told IGN. "Rick really needed to experience all of that, in Alexandria, without having that voice of reason. The objections that Tyreese would have made. Rick had to find that within himself. So if Rick had Tyreese there to lean on, I don't know that his development would have been the same."

The Walking Dead returns to AMC Oct. 11.
