'iZombie' Season 2 Spoilers: Major Has A Dangerous New Addiction, Is It From Ravi's Cure?

An unfortunate bout of zombieism sidelined the couple's blissful engagement, but, despite Liv's (Rose McIver) new waxy visage and her intense craving for brains, the pair may still have a shot at happily ever after.

"There better be!" executive producer Diane Ruggiero-Wright told Hollywood Life when asked if there is hope for the human and his undead ex.

Season 2 will resume after a brief time jump, and Lowell's (Bradley James) unfortunate death will be fading into the doctor's distant memory. In fact, TV Guide reports Liv will even be ready to jump into the dating world once more. If Liv and Major (Robert Buckley) do get back together, the iZombie's creative team wants to make sure the pair doesn't fall into the on-again-off again dating trap.

"We're not the type to just jerk people around. If they end, they end and then they get back together, it'll be for a good reason," Ruggiero-Wright explained, according to Hollywood Life. "There's hope, definitely."

To find out what's next for Liv and her Seattle pals, catch iZombie when the series returns to The CW this October.
