The truth is out there...and X-Files fans can get a glimpse of it this Monday.

'The X-Files' Season 10: Premiere To Screen At New York Comic-Con; Gillian Anderson Reacts

The premiere of The X-Files six-episode revival is still four months away, but Fox will roll out a two-part trailer during their Monday night lineup on Sept. 28.

Mulder (David Duchovny) and Scully (Gillian Anderson) will drop by Fox twice, first during Gotham at 8 p.m. ET and then during Minority Report at 9 p.m. ET. The network clearly knows their target audience.

After 13 years off the air, The X-Files will return with a two-night premiere on Jan. 24 and Jan. 25. The series will then continue to air on Mondays for the rest of its (depressingly) short run.

While attending Fan Expo in Canada, Anderson dished on just what viewers should expect from the revival.

"It is not [one continuous story]," the actress explained, according to Comic Book Resources. "It is exactly what you used to get, so there's a couple of comedic episodes, a couple 'monster-of-the-week' episodes, and a couple mythological ones."

This includes "My Struggle," "Home Again," "Mulder & Scully Meet the Were-Monster," "Babylon," "Founder's Mutation," and "My Struggle II."
