On Friday, Broadway World shared a synopsis of the episode that will air on Friday, October 16- one week after the season premiere. Queen Elizabeth's alliance with Catherine will backfire, leaving dangerous futures for both of them. Elizabeth has to put up with the political harboring of Catherine who is imprisoned upon her return to France.

Meanwhile, Mary needs to make the tough choices as the future of Scotland could be at stake. Plus, Lola's feelings for Narcisse might make her think harder about what she wants in her love life.

Rachel Skarsten, who plays Elizabeth, previously spoke about her character and how there will be more to her than just her ability to rule. With all the anticipation for this iconic woman coming aboard, it's bound to bring royal entertainment.

"I'm looking forward to sort of playing not only her strength, but also her insecurities," Skarsten said. "Elizabeth especially has arguably one of the most powerful nations in the world and viewed as somewhat illegitimate felt incredible insecurity about keeping her place."

The video below with the actress gives the impression that Elizabeth seems like she has it all together even when there are reasons to be doubtful.
