In what should be a highly competitive Premier League football showdown, the Chelsea squad will go up against the Queens Park Rangers on Wednesday.

Interestingly enough, Queens Park was the only team for a two-month period that Chelsea dropped four points to in the English league's play.  However, the Blues have been performing extremely well as of late, pulling out victories at Goodison Park and Carrow Road.  Most notably dominating Villa at home turf by a 8-0 margin.

Nonetheless, there are still some game tactics that Chelsea must hash out against QPR skipper Harry Redknapp's current approach, which appears to be to a deep defense along with high hopes that his attacking midfielder Adel Taarabt plays up to par.

Redknapp and QPR will be without the services of a handful of players, which includes strikers Bobby Zamora (hip), Andrew Johnson (knee) and potentially Park Ji-Sung (knee), who recently returned to training but still remains doubtful.

The Blues have its fair share of injuries as well.  Captain John Terry and goalkeeper Petre Cech will be out of action for the game.  Terry still continues to be hindered by a knee injury while Cech recently suffered a groin injury on Sunday.  In place of Cech, Ross Turnbull is expected to get his fifth Premier League start between the goal posts.

Midfielder John Obi Mikel (knee) and Ryan Bertrand (groin) are also questionable for to take the field against QPR.
