With a comfortable seven-point cushion atop the Premier League standings, Manchester United will turn its focus to the FA Cup on Saturday when they take on West Ham United in the third round.

Despite a record-setting 11 cups, Man United hasn't hoisted the English football trophy since 2004 and have had to grin and bear watching Chelsea prevail in four of the last six tournaments.

In 2001, West Ham eliminated United from the FA Cup with  a shocking fourth victory at Old Trafford.  The squad also faltered to Liverpool in the fourth round of last season by a margin of 2-1.

According to CaughtOffSide, skipper Alex Ferguson said he would rotate his club as he looks to keep his players fitness levels up to par for the obstacles that lay ahead.

"We'll make a few changes for the cup tie.  We've got fresh players though.  Young Shinji Kagawa came on against Wigan and Tom Cleverly is fresh as he's not had a lot of football."

The United team's game at West Ham is one of four all-Premier League ties, along with West Bromwich Albion's trek to Queens Park Rangers, Arsenal's matchup at Swansea City along and the Chelsea versus Southampton showdown.

United's closest league rivals Manchester City, will be hosting Watford with the FA Cup being just one of two trophies they'll have the opportunity to win after being eliminated from the League Cup and Champions League.

Man United will see the return of defenders Phil Jones and Nemanja Vidic for the trip.  However, Wayne Rooney (knee) and Nani (hamstring) are still ruled out despite participating in training.
