According to Wednesday's report from Mirror, Tom Hardy might play the action hero in the next movie if Daniel Craig gives up the role.

William Hill Spokesman Rupert Adams said, "This is massive news for Bond fans, it appears that Daniel Craig is pocketing forty odd million for Spectre as as a result he might as well call it a day."

Tom Hardy To Star In Action Film Based On Comic Book?

Spectre is the next Bond film expected to hit theaters this November.

"The gamble has coincided with the return of Tom Hardy to Bond favoritism, so it would seem likely that there is a lot going on in the background," Adam added.

Hardy is apparently at 4/1 in the favorites with Damiel Lewis behind at 11/4. There is also a possibility that a woman might take over the role and one actress in mind is Emily Blunt.

The site also pointed out that there is a good chance this next Bond film will be Craig's last.

Hardy has been making a lot of headlines in the past year, one including an awkward moment when he was at a recent press conference promoting his new film Legend. A reporter asked him if he felt it was difficult for celebrities to talk about their sexuality with the media. The actor asked the reporter if he was asking him about his own sexuality.

The reporter said, "sure" and Brady asked, "why?"

They left it pretty much at that. See the video below.
