While Halloween and Thanksgiving has clearly passed us, the popularity of TLC's "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" has more than certainly built anticipation for the show's upcoming belated specials.

Just off the heels of its Jan. 6 "Holladay Special," the show is set to air its Thankgiving episode on Sunday, Jan. 13 at 9 p.m. EST.

In order to look her best for the "Holladay" series, Mama June made the decision to get a beauty makeover.   Sticking to her moniker of being frugal, she made the decision to receive a hair makeover at home instead of a salon.   Hence, it's extremely less expensive to have her kids apply the hair dye compared to if she went to a real hairdresser.

During the process, daughter Alana "Honey Boo Boo" Thompson ran into some obstacles while applying the product to June's head, saying "Mama, all your bugs are jumpin' out your head," according to the Huffington Post.

However, Mama's main squeeze Sugar Bear had no complaints whatsoever regarding the new look.

"Hubba, bubba! That's a sexy mama," he said. The doting dad also described June as "a blonde bombshell."

The debacle seemed to bring enjoyment to the entire family except to June herself. Since she had no clue just how her mane would ultimately turn out, the mother continually freaked out while her girls chuckled.

To add to the comedy, her daughters even turned her hair into that of Princess Leia's from "Star Wars." Fortunately for June and the rest of the Thompson clan, she did end up liking her new look.

"Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" is a reality television program that revolves around the life and family of six-year-old kiddie beauty pageant contestant, Alana "Honey Boo Boo" Thompson. While most girls her age are playing with toys, Boo Boo instead models on stages for prizes. The cameras follow her family living life on a shoestring budget in the small town of McIntyre, Ga.
