Back in July rumors began to swirl that One Direction's oldest member Louis Tomlinson is expecting a child with Briana Jungwirth.

He, Simon Cowell and Tomlinson's bandmates all eventually confirmed the news that he would be a father soon.

Tomlinson has been on tour with his bandmates in the United Kingdom presently and Jungwirth has been there supporting him as fans have shared photos of her watching the 1D guys perform night after night with her growing baby bump on display.

It turns out the expecting parents now know the sex of their child. In Touch Weekly reported Wednesday that Tomlinson and Jungwirth will be having a baby girl.

"It's a girl!" a source gushed, adding, "Louis' family is thrilled."

Tomlinson comes from a family of a lot of females so he should be just fine raising a daughter.

"They would have been happy either way, but they know he will be a great dad to a daughter because he has six sisters. And Briana's over the moon!" the source further dished.

The families are even apparently planning an all-pink baby shower since Tomlinson and Jungwirth are having a little girl.

In other news about the impending birth of the child, Tomlinson has every intention of being present for that.

"Louis plans to be there for the birth," the source shared, adding, "They're trying to make things work."

It sounds like Tomlinson and Jungwirth are growing closer from this baby situation considering they weren't serious beforehand.
