Safaree Samuels, Meek Diss: Nicki Minaj's Ex Says Meek Mill Took Her From Him 'There's Certain Things You Don't Do' [VIDEO]

While Nicki Minaj says her and Safaree Samuels were over before she started dying Meek Mill, he has a different perspective on it.

Samuels spoke with Jamaica Star Monday and shared his side of the rumored love triangle.

He revealed that Meek actually got in between Nicki in hopes of having Nicki for himself.

“I have seen things that I don’t even bother to speak about, so I will just leave that. But you know, as a man, there is just certain things that you don’t do to another man, whether it’s true or not— like it’s none of your business to go and tell somebody’s significant other that, ‘oh, I saw your boyfriend doing this and that.’ What type of man does that?’” he said, referring to his blatant diss song for Meek.

Interestingly enough, Meek has always been vocal about wanting to be with Nicki MInaj, even during her 12 year relationship with Samuels. So it wouldn’t be too surprising if he did try to talk down Samuels to snag Nicki for himself.

As far as dissing Nicki in the past and saying that he wrote many of her successful songs, Samuels stands by his statement.

“I speak about it because it’s something I was very much involved in, so I have the right to say that I have platinum plaques and gold plaques. My credits are there and it’s kinda crazy because now it’s like I’m starting over; but the accomplishment is something nice to have on your wall.”
