Well, it was bound to happen sooner or later--someone called Donald Trump a racist to his face on live TV. Okay, so maybe it wasn't exactly has his opponents and critics would have hoped, but technically someone did yell, "Donald Trump is a racist!" while he was on the Saturday Night Live Stage...

And it was Larry David (who's been popping up on the show more and more frequently to play Bernie Sanders, a la Tina Fey's legendary reoccurring guest role of Sarah Pallen) from the wings. Astute readers will recall that a Latino activist group publicly announced that they would pay $5,000 to anyone who disrupted the live performance on air, which put NBC security on a high alert. So the SNL writers decided to beat anyone thinking of making a politically charged incident to the punch and making it a punch line (which is kind of smart).
