Is there a good chance that the current season of Reign will be its last?

Chatter On Returning Character To 'Reign'

That seems to be the case based on Tuesday's report from TV By The Numbers. In the 18-49 rating, the royal drama is 0.28 and is listed in the category of shows that are 'likely to be canceled by May 2016.'

The series that has the highest chance of being canceled at this point is Crazy Ex Girlfriend. Meanwhile, Jane the Virgin could potentially go off the air at that point, but it's not too likely.

A Handsome Pirate Joins 'Reign'

The shows that fans can have high hopes for include iZombie, The Vampire Diaries, Supernatural, The Originals, Arrow and The Flash.

As for where the current story of Reign is going, there is a lot taking place even if that may not be enough to give the show a renewal. While Francis has been ill and Catherine's been losing her mind, there have been some romances going in and out, one of those including the relationship between Leith and Greer. According to Jonathan Keltz (Leith), these characters are probably a done deal.

"Greer is very committed to her career path and her business and being the independent woman she now is. Leith is, although in a very new stage in his life, still committed to wanting a traditional and conventional family that he imagines for himself," Keltz told No White Noise. "I don't know if I see the two of them compromising on those two visions and dreams anytime soon. We may have seen the end of Greith."

Reign airs on Fridays at 8 p.m. ET on The CW.
