Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony separated in July 2011, but that doesn’t mean the exes and parents to three-year-old twins, Max and Emme, together can’t be friends.

In the first episode of ¡Q'Viva! The Chosen, their television series together, viewers get to see a little inside Lopez and Anthony’s relationship before the split. E! Online was present for a special viewing of the first episode.

At one point in the show, Anthony reflects on the relationship saying that he and Lopez are meant to be in each other’s lives.

“Marriage is one chapter, kids are another,” he says.

Well if marriage is one and kids are another, then divorce is the next, at least for Lopez and Anthony.

“[It’s] very Sonny and Cher after the divorce,” Lopez says in a scene after being questioned by a producer about the divorce.

¡Q'Viva! The Chosen is a series that showcases Lopez, Anthony and director Jamie King going throughout Latin America to find talented performers in singing, dancing and other talents. If chosen, the performers will be featured in a live Las Vegas show, celebrating Latin American culture.
