'Scorpion' Season 2: Sylvester's Dad To Appear, Will Sly & His Pops Lose Their Cool? [VIDEO]
Walter and Happy won't be the only Scorpion geniuses to get a visit from the parentals this season.
Each of the members of Team Scorpion has a fraught history with their parents, but based on his origin story, Sylvester's (Ari Stidham) home life was the worst of all. As season 2 progresses, the human calculator's "hard-a**" dad will enter the picture. That description alone tells us Sly and his pops are cut from a very different cloth.
"Scorpion is casting Sly's military-for-life dad, who has long struggled to connect with his genius son," TV Line announced on Wednesday. "Actors in their 50s who excel at playing hard-a**es should contact their agents ASAP."

As if the newlywed didn't have enough problems to deal with as it were. There's no doubt the arrival of Mr. Dodd will compound Sylvester's emotional state as his wife inches towards her demise.
Mr. and Mrs. O'Brien, meanwhile, will also make a trip to the City of Angeles. Unseen since the pilot, Walter's (Elyes Gabel) parents will drop by as Megan's condition worsens in "Arrivals & Departures" (see video below).
