Here is good news for Friends fans that miss the onscreen chemistry between Monica Gellar and Chandler Bing. Courteney Cox and Matthew Perry are reuniting on an upcoming episode of the half-hour NBC comedy, Go On.

Cox, 47, will be guest starring as a potential love interest for Perry, 43. Her character, will meet Anne played by Julie White who then tries to hook her up with Ryan, played by Perry.

For "Friends" viewers in need of a plot synopsis, the show centers around sports radio talk show host Ryan King who has gone through a few rough patches in life.

At the suggestion of his boss, Ryan joins a support group before getting back on the air. Ryan finds himself in a weird group of overly-emotional characters which he at first shows no interest in. But, in time it is the oddball group that gets Ryan back on his feet and back to the job he loves.

The episode will air sometime in April. This will be the first time Cox and Perry have worked together on screen since Friends went off the air in 2004 after ten seasons.

The reunion will also include Scott Silveri who was the long running producer on Friends and is now the executive producer for Go On.

The stint will be a short break for Cox who currently stars on TBS’ Cougar Town. The actress plays the role of Jules Cobb, a divorced mom and real estate agent who tries to find her footing with younger men in the dating world.

Friends debuted in 1994 and was one of the highest rated sitcoms on TV. 52.5 million viewers watched the season finale air in the US on May 6, 2004 which earned the series the title of most watched telecast since Seinfeld ended in 1998.
