Melissa Gorga's ex-boyfriend threatened to expose details about the reality star's past that would allegedly prove she lied to become a cast member of The Real Housewives of New Jersey in order to make a name for herself.

Bryan Bowen promised to reveal an "atomic bomb" about Gorga - claiming she married Joe Gorga for money and that she was involved with Bowen when she started dating Joe. He wrote on his Twitter account, under the name @bulldog_nj, that Melissa was "desperate to keep her fake image & fame fame," while promising that he has proof to back his accusations based on things Melissa said and did to him.

"I remember the Friday nite u said 2me stop seeing other girls or I will marry that millionaire.3 months Lata you were married Lol," he accused, according to Reality Tea.

Radar Online reported that Bowen threatened to publicize the details behind his accusations by tweeting, "Time and a place for everything just know the phone call was an atomic bomb and not for me tick tick tick lol."

"Just so this clear I'm not trying to make anyone believe anything I just speak the truth! It's how I roll..  " he tweeted.

Bowen added that he got a phone call from Melissa saying that she was not worried about him exposing secrets about her or making an appearance on the reality show.

"She says she's not worried about me...because my tumor is back and I will be dead," he said. "Maybe if u go on realty TV you should not act as if this were a movie and hurt people doing it. I guess it's coming out after a year of dealing with this BS that I tried so hard to avoid."

"I turned people away & changed my number 3 times," he tweeted.

Melissa did not address the accusations but her sister Kim wrote a message to Bowen on Twitter, saying, "Get the hell of twitter and call me. I think you must be losing your freaking mind. What happened to you!"

While talking with CY Interview, Bowen clarified whether he had agreed to appear on The Real Housewives of New Jersey, saying, "No it's not true, not at all...I have not even spoken to any of the producers."

However, when asked if he would like to be on the series, he said the following:

"I have no plans on being on the show. I guess, however, you know if the circumstances are right for me, I gotta believe I'd consider it."
