Supernatural fanfiction writers just received an early Christmas gift - not only has series creator Eric Kripke read some of your work, he's proud to have the world of Sam and Dean Winchester represented.

Kripke took to the Vertigo Comics twitter on Thursday to promote his latest comic book series, Jacked, but the writer also fielded questions regarding his ever popular CW series.

While Kripke has never penned any fanfiction of his own, he has seen the tales fans have woven for the Winchester brothers.

"I haven't, but I've read it," Kripke said. "The fact that we inspire people to express themselves and creatively add to our world is something I'm VERY proud of."

In fact, the writer is very supportive of the entire SPN Family. When asked what his favorite thing about Supernatural was, Kripke was quick to put his fans at the top of the list.

"I love the characters, the urban legends, but I'm most proud of the smart, inclusive community that's formed around watching & interacting with the show," Kripke explained.

While Kripke has since moved on to the worlds of Revolution and Jacked, it appears the family business is still very much on his mind.
