Adele took home the Grammy for 'Best Pop Solo Performance of the year' for Set Fire to the Rain (Live).

The 55th annual Grammy Awards aired live on Sunday at 8 p.m. ET from the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

Swift was the night's opening act and fellow performers included Rihanna, Carly Rae Jepsen, and Justin Timberlake - who returned to the Grammy stage for the first time in four years. Timberlake is a six-time Grammy winner and his performance of Suit & Tie at the award show on Sunday will debut his first new music in nearly seven years.

Bruce Springsteen, who is nominated in the category of Best Rock Performance, took home the MusiCares Person of the Year award at a pre-Grammys event on Feb. 8. The annual event, now in its 23rd year, celebrates a singer's musical achievements and philanthropic work. It is hosted by Grammy organizers and kicked off the weekend of the awards show.
