They haven't been friends for a while ever since their fallout on reality series The Hills. While they started off as best buddies, that unfortunately took a nasty turn in the show.

But on Twitter on Friday, Montag wrote something pretty suspicious that may or may not be directed towards her ex-best friend.

Considering that her "enemy" started off as her friend, this is bound to cause some heads to turn. Of course, a couple users commented on the tweet with suspicions about Conrad.

In fact, Conrad spoke with Cosmopolitan over the summer about that bizarre moment on Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars when Montag went through a tearful speech on forgiving her former pal. When Conrad was asked if she had any comments, she said, "No."

"I'm not really involved in that anymore," she added via E! News. "I don't think it has anything to do with me. You just have to focus on the good people in your life. Focusing on what you lose is only going to make you sad."

Conrad then explained how being on reality television helped her toughen up.

"Scandal was always around me," she said. "And I think one of the best things [about that] for me is that your life becomes more big-picture. You have to develop a thick skin really quickly. It toughened me up, which is good."
