Lil Wayne is tapping into the tween market with his newest Young Money record label signee, his daughter Reginae Carter.

Carter, 14, is a former member of the R&B teen group the OMG Girlz. The daughter of the music rap mogul has shown that she has the chops to generate a loyal fan base with a following of 572,439 fans on Twitter and 423,109 on Instagram at time of publication.

Young Money President Mack Maine confirmed the news to RapUp on the red carpet at Cash Money’s Pre-Grammy party on Feb. 9. The record label head ensured that there are only great things in store for the young artist.

“Wayne’s daughter, Reginae is actually signed to Young Money now,” Maine said. “Just expect greatness. She’s Toya [Wright’s] daughter and Wayne’s daughter, so that’s a great combination. She’s a megastar.”

Along with the teen, PJ Morton, Torion Sellers and teen group We the Future have also been signed to the label.

“Right now, I’m trying to get the Young Money young’uns going,” Maine said at the event.

Lil Wayne is also trying to get back into the rap game, but now without some controversy. Earlier this week civil rights leaders including Rev. Jesse Jackson protested the rapper’s vulgar lyrics in a new song with rapper Future called Karate Chop, which referenced the death of Emmitt Till.

The controversy sparked lyrics read:

"Pop a lot of pain pills
'Bout to put rims on my skateboard wheels
Beat that p---y up like Emmett Till"

Till was murdered in 1955 days after he whistled at a white woman in Mississippi. He was badly beaten and shot in the head before his body was disposed of in a river. Following the uproar, Epic Label head L.A. Reid confirmed that Karate Chop had been leaked without authorization.

On Valentine’s Lil Wayne released a video for his song Love Me. The music video features Drake, Future and lots of women in a bedroom full of water. The video has an S&M take with women in cages dressed as reptiles and others covered in blood in a white bathtub.
