Hell's Kitchen lit a fire under 18 chefs on Friday night, and by time the season 15 premiere came to a close, Gordon Ramsay had sent one packing with his tail between his legs.

This season, members of the Blue Team and the Red Team are competing for the head chef position at Bally's Las Vegas' BLT Steak. With Ramsay serving as head chef and Marino Monferrato as Maître d', former competitor Christina Wilson will take on the role of Red Team sous chef while Aaron will do the same for the Blue Team.

Each chef was tasked with making their signature dish in 45 minutes, and the Blue Team scraped a win with a score of 24-22. While the Red Team had to stay back to peel shrimp and mashed potatoes, the winners visited Drai's Nightclub.

Unfortunately for the Blue Team, their dinner service went terribly. After burnt pizza, cold lobster, and bad risotto, Ramsay kicked them out of the kitchen. The men then nominated Mark Paras and Kevin Ridlon for elimination.

The notoriously caustic head chef ultimately decided to tossed Mark Paras to the curb. Ramsey dubbed the 27-year-old line cook a "disaster" following his premiere performance.

Hell's Kitchen airs Fridays at 9 p.m. ET on Fox.
