'Fifty Shades of Grey' Movie Casting: Henry Cavill Insinuating He's The Future Christian Grey? (Video)
The Fifty Shades of Grey movie casting competition continues to dominate the Internet. One of the fan favorites, Man of Steel's Henry Cavill, was photographed donning a dapper tie similar to that of Christian Grey, which is leading many fans to speculate whether his recent wardrobe choice was a coincidence or intentional.
Cavill dressed up like the S&M-crazed billionaire CEO alongside his real-life girlfriend, Gina Carano for the Great British Film Reception in Los Angeles.
To add to the tie speculation, Cavill's was strikingly similar to the one that appeared on the cover of E.L. James' novel.
Earlier in February, the British actor also sported a similar tie to a BAFTA pre-show event, reports Gather.
The 29-year old was recently coined as the "Breakout Star of 2013" by Fandango. In the respective contest, Cavill beat out fellow British movie stars Nicholas Hoult and Sam Clafin of "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire," among several other notable male celebrities.
Many women will surely be pulling for Cavill to don the Grey role due to his dashing looks and well-chiseled physique.
According to Details, Cavill had also spoken about the possibility of playing the hunky CEO.
"Whether that happens, that decision will be made at the time it has to be made. It would be a very different kind of thing than 'Man of Steel,'" he stated.
Up until this point, the producers attached to the film have remained relatively mum on their casting approach.
Early in 2012, Focus Features and Universal Pictures purchased the rights to the "Fifty Shades." The racy erotica has now sold well over 60 million copies and the film should do just as well.
