While fans await for the cast of VH1’s Love & Hip Hop Atlanta to bring the shenanigans back to reality television again, one star has called it quits on the show.

Erica Dixon Calls Out Lil Scrappy

None other than Erica Dixon has decided to leave the series months ahead of its premiere.

Interestingly enough, she said in a recent interview with Bossip that it was her idea for her and her then boyfriend Lil Scrappyto join the show.

She revealed to Wetpaint over the weekend that she will not be returning for the show’s highly anticipated fifth season.

“You won’t see me on ‘Love & Hip Hop Atlanta’,” she said while promoting her Klass 6 hair and clothing line. “It’s been peaceful. People don’t understand—they just think it’s all this glitz and glamour because you’re on TV, but there’s so much that comes with it.

It’s mentally draining and physically draining and people just don’t get that you know? And with me being a mom, I still have to put on a face when it comes to her no matter what I’m going through. I can honestly say I’m at peace and I’m happy.”

But she did say she will always be on good terms with co-stars like Mimi Faust, Ariane Davis, Rasheeda Frost and Karlie Redd.

She also added that she is not done with television altogether. So it might be likely we’ll see her again soon.

She is also working on her Southern Bell childrens’ book series.
