The Flash has furnished fans with the first teaser for a potential Legion of Super-Heroes appearance.

"Welcome To Earth-2" was a veritable DC easter egg-palooza, and Barry's journey through the breach paid homage to every series currently inhabiting the DC TV universe - Arrow, Supergirl, and Legends of Tomorrow all received a nod with past of future characters. Right before our E1 heroes touched down on E2, however, the Legion of Super-Heroes logo made its debut.

The emblem caught us completely by surprise, particularly considering no official announcement has been made regarding the Legion's appearance. DC Entertainment CCO Geoff Johns teased the squad's future appearance back in January, but the writer steered clear of announcing which series would do the honors.

"You'll see a hint of the Legion on one of our shows. Keep watching," Johns said, according to TV Line. ""I love the Legion. They're underused and hopefully we'll get them out there soon."
