Actress Wendy Raquel Robinson revealed that she was pretty close to getting her peach.

She told Bossip’s Don’t Be Scared show earlier this month, “Believe it or not, about a year ago my agent’s like ‘They reached out, they didn’t say the name but they were looking for a series regular for a reality show set in Atlanta.' They were looking for big energy with I guess replacing Claudia.”

It looks like actress Kim Fields got that spot, as she joined the show as a full-time cast member this season. But Robinson said she is all for it.

“Kim Fields and I go back to when we were like 10-years-old. I understand sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. She wants to stay relevant and she wants to be out there and she chose that vehicle.”

While some actors and actresses are making their way to reality television, it’s no secret that people whose claim to fame is reality TV have been snagging acting roles as well. Even though this has upset some seasoned actors, Robinson only has one request when reality stars take on acting.

“I’m not offended if they take the craft seriously. Tami Roman and I we go way back from doing plays together, she’s on ‘Basketball Wives,’ she’s doing a [great] job with that and she’s also a trained actress. Look at NeNe, she’s been doing Broadway. I’m jealous of that,” she said jokingly. “If they take the craft seriously and respect the process, let’s get it. Let’s play.”
