The agents of NCIS: Los Angeles do everything in their power to keep their families shielded from their work, but unfortunately for Sam Hanna, the dangerous of his job will hit home in "Revenge Deferred."

'NCIS: LA' Season 7: Callen's Name Is On The Tip Of This Man's Tongue, 'Matryoshka: Part 2' Promo Revealed

Someone is keeping the former Navy SEAL's family under surveillance, and all four of the Hannas will find their lives on the line during episode 17. Tahir (Anslem Richardson) and Jada Khaled (Ella Thomas) are back in the picture, and one (or both) of them will continue to harbor a deadly grudge over Sam's (LL Cool J) undercover mission that brought Jada unwillingly to the United States.

"After extensive surveillance footage of Sam's family is found in Africa, Sam and Callen fly there to determine who is responsible and for what purpose," CBS teased on Thursday. "Also, Sam's family is moved from their home to a safe house."

Viewers have been waiting all season for Sam to take on his most difficult mission to date, and it appears "Revenge Deferred" is the hour you've all been waiting for

"Sam will be confronted with his most difficult case, the most difficult situation he's ever been in as an agent or as a SEAL," series creator Shane Brennan teased last year, according to TV Fanatic. "It has big repercussions. That's all I'm going to say."

"Revenge Deferred" will air on Feb. 29, just a week after Callen's (Chris O'Donnell) big reveal in "Matryoshka: Part 2" (see a preview below).

NCIS: LA airs Mondays at 10 p.m. ET on CBS.
