Draya Michele is making her way back to reality television after arguably being the breakout star of Basketball Wives LA on VH1.

Draya Michele On Speculation That ‘Some Athlete’ Is The Father Of Her Teenage Son

Draya left the show after its fourth season wrapped last year. But while she said in the past that it’s unlikely for her to go back to reality TV, she took to Twitter to confirm that she is doing just that.

Still, she is switching it up this time around and won’t be in front of the camera. Instead, she’s taking on a producing role. She also said that she is working on a scripted series that is “really cute.”

Draya Michele Confirms She & Orlando Scandrick Are Back Together, Snaps At Critic

She went on to confirm the news and offered up a few more details with The Shade Room.

She said the show will tell the story of six friends, but they will not be basketball wives. It’s not clear if they will have a concept of another sort though—such as women dating athletes or football players. Draya is currently engaged to Dallas Cowboys cornerback Orlando Scandrick. They are actually expecting their first child together.

Scandrick is no stranger to reality television either. He made several appearances on Basketball Wives LA in the early stages of his relationship with Draya. But given how the drama unfolded, it’s no surprise that she has decided not to tell her love story on camera anymore.

She also had a negative ending with reality television when she got into a screaming match with her former co-star Brandi Maxiell after Maxiell accused Draya of saying that her storyline about being a cancer survivor was boring.
