It's time to wake up the past on Wayward Pines.

'Wayward Pines' Season 2: Christopher Meyer's Casting Teases A Very Dangerous Time, Meet Mario

The First Generation seized control of the future last year, turning the tables on their parents and sticking all the rebellious adults in the ultimate time out. Two of these characters, however, may find their way out of stasis early in season 2.

Nurse Pam (Melissa Leo) and the FBI's Kate Hewson (Carla Gugino) will re-awaken for at least one of the seasons early episodes, according to Entertainment Weekly. While the nature of their returns is still unknown, Gugino teased her arrival back on set with the following pic:

Leo and Hewson will join a potentially all-new cast. Wayward Pines newest arrivals include CJ Mitchum (Djimon Hounsou), a historian; Dr. Theo Yedlin (Jason Patric), a surgeon; Kerry Campbell (Nimrat Kaur), a leader of one of the town’s new factions; and Mario (Christopher Meyer), one of Kerry’s soldiers.

Wayward Pines will return to Fox later this year.
