The fourth season of NBC's The Voice brings two new coaches, Shakira and Usher, to the competitive show.

Veterans Adam Levine and last year's winning coach Blake Shelton don't seem threatened by the new coaches when they discussed the upcoming season of the show, which will air on March 25 with the blind auditions.

During the blind auditions, the contestants sing to the judges who are facing away from them, and hope that a judge will invite the singer to join their team to coach them. If more than one judge picks the contestant, the contestant chooses which judge they want to work with, which sparks the competitive side in the coaches.

In a clip on NBC, Shakira told a contestant that she is a true star, and then Shelton went in for the kill.

"I'd just hate to see somebody as talented and beautiful as her end up as an experiment on two different coaches who never even been on this show before," he said.

Levine also mocked the new coaches and said, "You really trust these rookies?"

Previous coaches on the hit television series were Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green.

Last year's winning singer was Cassadee Pope, who was coached by Shelton. Shelton has been the winning coach on the show twice.
