Is there a good chance that this will be the final season for Nashville?

According to Tuesday's report from TV By The Numbers, chances are not looking too high for the series to be renewed for a fifth season. Apparently, the show's status is at 'likely to be canceled by May 2016' with a 1.02 in the 18-49 rating and at 0.74 in the renew/cancel index.

Other ABC shows that have a low chance of being renewed include The Muppets, Castle and Agent Carter.

Then there's The Real O'Neals, American Crime and The Catch that could potentially stick around, but no one should be too hopeful just yet.

Shows already guaranteed to stay for another season include Quantico, The Middle, Grey's Anatomy, Agents of SHIELD, Black-ish and several more.

In a previous interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Connie Britton, who plays Rayna on Nashville, said that she doesn't know if the series will last or not. In fact, she's not even sure if there will be a storyline with closure if this really is the show's farewell.

"I don't feel like I'm ever privy to these conversations," Britton said. "But as far as I know, there hasn't been any conversation like that."

The actress also dished on her character's relationship with Deacon and how it differs from what she had with Teddy.

"To some degree, her marriage to Teddy was a way of trying to cut herself off from her feelings for Deacon, so I think she only learned from her past marriage," Britton said. "I think she learned from almost marrying Luke Wheeler. And I think those things all sort of helped her to get to this place where she's like, 'You know, I'm just going to do what I probably wanted to do my whole life.'"

Nashville airs on Wednesdays at 10 p.m. ET on ABC.
