Ink Master will not be leaving television anytime soon.

The series just began its seventh season earlier this month and it was already announced that an eighth season would be happening as well.

And now, as of Tuesday, it's been revealed that the Spike TV competition has been renewed for Season 9. According to Deadline, the series has garnered 1.8 million viewers and continues to do splendidly.

"The Ink Master franchise has been a major driver in Spike's successful shift to general entertainment," EVP Original Series at Spike Sharon Levy said. "The continued ratings growth is a result of the creativity and ingenuity of our partners at Original Media and our phenomenal hosting/judging trio of Dave Navarro, Oliver Peck and Chris Nunez."

In a previous video, a number of contestants on the series opened up on what the series has done for the community. Alex Rockoff mentioned that it's creating more popularity among artists who are expressing interest in becoming part of the show.

"I think Ink Master is huge. It's affected the tattoo community a lot," Rockoff said. "A lot of tattoo artists watch the show now. Of course, there's a lot of clientele, there's a lot of fans that watch, but there's definitely a lot more artists that are interested in doing it, competing in it. It's blowing up."

It also does great things for the clients as well.

"I think that this competition being so popular now is a great thing for the industry because it's teaching people how not to get bad tattoos," Matti Hixson said.

Ink Master airs on Tuesdays at 11 p.m. ET on Spike TV.
