Some of the artists on Ink Master gave their perspective on how tattooing has made a difference in society today.

'Ink Master' Season 7 Contestant Says She's 'Better Than Most Guys'

On Monday, a video was released with tattoo artists who've made it on the series and shown what they were capable of. They went over how the show has caused viewers to take note of what's happening with tips that could come in handy for all the new and returning artists in the seventh season.

"I think Ink Master is huge. It's affected the tattoo community a lot," Alex Rockoff said. "A lot of tattoo artists watch the show now. Of course, there's a lot of clientele, there's a lot of fans that watch, but there's definitely a lot more artists that are interested in doing it, competing in it. It's blowing up."

Is 'Ink Master' Season 7 Going To Be The 'Strongest' Competition Yet?

Another thing to keep in mind is to not mess up when getting ink done, and to make sure the customer knows what he or she is doing.

"I think that this competition being so popular now is a great thing for the industry because it's teaching people how not to get bad tattoos," Matti Hixson said.

The show is not only great for people who enjoy tattoos, but it also applies for people who love art in general.

"I think that Ink Master does bring some education to the general population about tattooing," Megan Jean Morris said. "So as an artist we get more clients who are interested in collecting art work. I think it's a great thing."

See what else they had to say in the video below.
