Suits' Patrick J. Adams will trade the world of torts and fraud for the time-hopping universe of Rip Hunter in the Legends of Tomorrow season finale.

Adams' Mike Ross is in prison on USA, but over on The CW, the unidentified newbie will be just steps away from adventure.

The DC addition is a "fun character the fans will love," according to Entertainment Weekly. Adams' will not only appear during the finale, but he will also pop up during the season 2 premiere. Considering the actor will soon have his hands full filming for Suits season 6, it is unknown if mysterious DC addition will continue to pop up as the series continues.

Legends of Tomorrow has seven freshman episodes left, and viewers can expect the Waverider crew to hop from the 1950s to the distant future to the old west...and that's just in the next three episodes! Check out the upcoming titles below:

Next time on Legends of Tomorrow, Rip (Arthur Darvill) will cross the line in his continued effort to save his family.

"Rip tells the team they are headed to the future to take out a powerful ally that Savage (guest star Casper Crump) needs in order to conquer the world. However, when Rip reveals the ally is a 14 year-old boy (guest star Cory Gruter-Andrew) who will one day grow into an evil dictator, the team is split about the morality of killing a child, even if it does save the world," The CW teased.

"Meanwhile, Sara (Caity Lotz) talks Snart (Wentworth Miller) through a rough patch and Ray (Brandon Routh) learns something that could impact his future with Kendra (Ciara Renée)."
