Joie Chavis, the mother of rapper and actor Bow Wow’s child has set the record straight on their relationship after he implied that they were together.

She chimed in to an online spat between Bow Wow and rapper and producer Yung Berg that was going on all weekend long. It started when Bow Wow hinted that he and Chavis were back together after his engagement to reality star Erica Mena and alleged brief relationship with singer Keyshia Cole.

Yung Berg chimed in and said he hoped this new relationship “inspires sum music.”

Bow Wow wasn’t really happy with it and went off about Yung Berg. The two went back-and-forth before Yung Berg posted a collage of himself getting close with Mena in one photo and Chavis in another. He said in the caption that their beef was happening “over women.” Bow Wow seemed to think it was funny and added, “He better off being my assistant… He gone make me buy him… not to mention his whole style is chump. I got all his girls Dm’n me messages n screenshots he better go play somewhere else…” That’s when Chavis broke her silence and stepped in to set the record straight. “Here I am enjoying my Sunday and see all this childish, immature activity to say the least. Please leave me out of it. I don’t have anything to do with this, nor am I in a relationship with either one. Please just respect that.” Check out that interaction in the screenshots below.
