Emily Deschanel discusses why fans shouldn't be too concerned about the show's core relationship on Bones this season.

While there's plenty of turmoil going on between now-paralyzed Hodgins (T.J. Thyne) and Angela (Michaela Conlin), there's not much drama between Brennan (Deschanel) and Booth (David Boreanaz).

Deschanel assured fans in a new interview with E! Online that there's not much to be worried about between Brennan and Booth in the final episodes of season 11.

"Our relationship, that's not the struggle here. [Hodgins and Angela are] going through stuff and we're concerned about him and them and obviously solving our cases and a serial killer! Booth and Brennan feel pretty strong. I can't say what happens at the end of the season or next season, but right now they're strong," she said.

Even Brennan and Booth's conflicts moving forward aren't exactly life-altering.

"Brennan starts organizing the house and she takes everything out and is trying to throw stuff away-Booth's hockey belt buckle that he used to wear, his beer helmet. That's just been a fun episode in general, fun moments to revisit some old props. I tried to get rid of his fancy socks and things like that," Deschanel teased, discussing what's ahead for the couple.

Delving further into just how Hodgins' paralysis affects his relationship with Angela, Deschanel noted that while only the physical aspect of Hodgins was changed in the fall finale, that leads to greater emotional problems.

"It's interesting to explore what somebody goes through. Nothing's changed about him except something physically but that changes everything in a lot of ways," Deschanel observed. "That can be really huge for somebody to adjust to, and hopefully gets to a really good place."

Deschanel also admitted that it's been tough to even film some scenes with Thyne just because of how "harsh" his character has become due to his paralysis.

Bones airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Fox.
