Bones returns for the second half of season 11 Thursday night on Fox - here's how you can watch it online.

After four months off the air, Bones is slated to return tonight at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Fox. Fans have been eagerly anticipating the continuation of Hodgins' (T.J. Thyne) storyline, having suffered grave injuries in the fall finale that left him paralyzed.

The midseason premiere, titled "The Death in the Defense," will pick up eight weeks into Hodgins' rehabilitation.

Hodgins is now "forced to navigate life in a wheelchair, while having difficulty readjusting to his new life at home and the lab. Meanwhile, Brennan (Emily Deschanel) and Booth (David Boreanaz) investigate the death of a public defender who had multiple defendants from previous cases with motives to kill her," the plot synopsis reads.

Deschanel previously spoke about Hodgins' storyline in an interview with E! News.

"One big thing is we've left on a big realization -- I don't know if we'd call it a cliffhanger exactly -- but the big stuff for Hodgins where we discover that he's paralyzed," she said. "When we come back, he is in the middle of rehabilitation. He's not a happy camper, as a lot of people would be having to deal with the fact that they very likely won't be walking again."

For those who wish to view the Bones midseason premiere, you'll have to tune in at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Fox. Unfortunately, Fox does not have a live streaming service, but they do have FOX NOW, which has full episodes the day after they air.

If you go the FOX NOW route, you'll need a cable subscription. Check out this list of cable providers supported by FOX NOW and find yours.

New episodes of Bones are also available on Hulu, which requires its own subscription.
