Jeremy Calvert's co-stars are returning to MTV for a new season of Teen Mom 2, but according to a report, he will not.

While Calvert has remained silent in regard to his future with the reality series, the latest report regarding season eight claims he will not be featured alongside ex-wife Leah Messer.

"Leah Messer‘s ex-husband Jeremy Calvert is still adamant about cutting ties to the show," The Ashley's Reality Roundup reported on Tuesday, citing a prior report regarding his exit in March.

"Chelsea Houska‘s ex, Adam Lind, has stated that he, too, is done with ‘Teen Mom 2,’ but we will have to wait and see if the men change their mind. After all, they are making a ton of money from their appearances on MTV, which is not easy to say goodbye to," the outlet noted.

In addition to removing himself from the show, a second source told The Ashley's Reality Roundup that Messer's ex-husband would also be taking their daughter off Teen Mom 2.

“Jeremy wants Addie out of the spotlight. He doesn’t want her to grow up being known as the kid from ‘Teen Mom 2,'” the source explained.

And because both he and Messer are required to agree before Adalynn is allowed to appear on camera, he can easily chose to keep her away from the show and there's no way MTV could fight his decision.

“Both parents have to agree to have their child filmed for the show,” the insider said. “Jeremy and Leah both have to sign off on having Addie appear. If Jeremy refuses to sign off, Addie cannot appear, regardless if Leah wants her to. Both custodial parents have to agree.

“There’s no way MTV would fight it,” the source continued. “They won’t go to court or anything. It will make it very hard for the film crews, though, if they are filming Leah and the twins and Addie is not allowed to appear. They will probably try to throw a lot more money Jeremy’s way to get him to agree though, but that’s the most they’ll do.”

Teen Mom 2 season seven airs Mondays at 10 p.m. on MTV.
