'Empire' Season 2: Biggest Spoilers For Finale Revealed [VIDEO]

If you can’t wait until tomorrow (Wednesday) night to find out what will happen on the explosive season finale of Empire’s second season, called "Past Is Prologue," on Fox, definitely keep reading.

For starters, the most recent episode left fans in a cliffhanger for many reasons. One being Lucious Lyon’s mother could have possibly revealed who she really is as she stepped out of the hospital (following Jamal Lyon getting shot by Freda Gatz) and into a mob of reporters. Well rest easy viewers, it doesn’t look like the Lyon clan is facing any fallout from Lucious lying about the death of his mother. At least not in this season finale.

Also in "Past Is Prologue," the FBI might have gotten a hold of Anika Calhoun in hopes of getting her to testify against her ex-fiance, Lucious Lyon. But somehow Lucious and Cookie get back to her and try to “tuck” her away to make sure the FBI can’t snag her again. It’s not clear if Anika will end up testifying, but it one teaser she is seen sitting at the top of a building. Interestingly enough, she is pregnant with Lucious’ youngest son, Hakeem Lyon’s child. But while Cookie and Lucious try to protect her from the feds, they can’t protect her from Rhonda’s wrath when Rhonda confronts her (with a punch) for possibly pushing her down the stairs. Actor Grace Gealey, who plays Anika, has teased that fans will still be wondering if Anika was behind the loss of Rhonda and Andre Lyon’s son.

Lastly, while Hakeem is set to marry his longtime girlfriend, it looks like Lucious and Cookie might be the ones actually “getting hitched.”
