Leah Messer is no longer the big spender she was during Teen Mom 2 season six.

On Instagram on Friday, the reality star and mother of three shared a telling meme with fans, revealing she now has a new outlook on her finances.

"I'd rather save my money for vacations and memories!" Messer captioned the photo below.

During the last season of Teen Mom 2, Messer admitted to overspending after her then-husband, Jeremy Calvert, called her out for blowing through cash.

"I'm not perfect, I make mistakes," Messer told her cousin Chasity, via Wetpaint Entertainment. "I have an issue with spending money. I do, because I think the biggest issue with me spending money is if I'm upset or hurt, it's one thing that makes me feel happy. Which isn't an excuse, but that's what I do."

Messer was also forced to defend her spending habits last year after the reality star shared a photo of her daughters and a new horse.

"First off, the horse was given to the girls and for Ali to use for therapeutic riding from her grandparents," Messer explained. "Second the money I spend or 'spent' so to say wasn't only on makeup. You guys do seem to forget that this is reality TV and many things are edited to fit timing Etc. So you guys really should take a step back to THINK before being so judgmental."

After ranting on Twitter in response to Calvert's allegations, Messer assured fans that she appreciates their feedback.

"I love to hear you opinions even the ones that is so hurtful because I take it to heart and try to let it make me a stronger person by looking at opinions as a lesson and be more understanding,” she added. “The advice I love accepting and remaining strong through all the ups and downs that I have."
