Person of Interest's will bow out with a bloodbath.

After five years of investigating irrelevant numbers, Finch's (Michael Emerson) ragtag band of operatives has reached the end of the line. Samaritan is in the throws of defeat, but the ASI's agents are still in play. As Fusco (Kevin Chapman) determines LeRoux's fate, Person of Interest will cap off it's run with an emotional rollercoaster.

"It was a chance for us to revisit some of those relationships we hadn't had a chance to get to before," executive producer Jonathan Nolan told TV Insider. "It's a more emotional finale than I would have anticipated we would have had."

Wondering what relationships Nolan is referring to? Well, we can tell you that young Reese (Jack Davis) and his mother (Amy Tribbey) will make an apperance, and viewers can expect "Return 0" to shine a light on Resse (Jim Caviezel) and Finch's partnership.

"I think that relationship has always been the heart of the show, whether it was on-screen or understood. That was the start of this whole crazy endeavor," executive producer Greg Plageman explained. "We tried to even service that at the end of [Episode] 9 when they're under the bridge; it's going to take all of them to take this damn thing down."

Unfortunately, the hour will also be peppered with multiple deaths; enough to classify it as "bloodbath."

"I think by the time the bloodbath of the finale is over you might have different thoughts," Plageman told Deadline of fans hopes for a reboot.
