Move over Quantico, Langley is here to steal your best and brightest.

The FBI had a gem of an agent in Alex Parrish (Priyanka Chopra), and they threw it all away. Chopra's character was hunted, despised, cleared, revered, but eventually kicked to the curb after saving the country from not one, but two devastating nukes. Although the Bureau squandered her potential, another of the government's alphabet soup agencies was quick to scoop her up.

If the FBI prided itself on the exposing the truth, than the CIA will be its dark mirror.

"We're very interested in the fact that the FBI's so much about being honest, truthful and living up to your badge, and the CIA is the opposite," showrunner Josh Safran told TV Line. "You succeed if you can deceive. So it's going to be interesting to see. It's like a funhouse mirror of what we've seen."

So all that lying and subterfuge from last season was what? Child's play? Something tells us fans and agents a like will have trouble pinpointing the good guys in season 2.

At least Alex will be staying in country, giving her plenty of time to interact with her season 1 cohorts.

"The CIA works internationally, but they're housed here," Safran explained, according to Entertainment Weekly. "So the story next year includes international elements, but it's domestic."

After all, Claire Haas (Marcia Cross) is still at large. The politician played a black hat role in Liam's terroristic activities, but she slipped through the gaps as season 1 came to an end.

"I would say the tie between season 1 and season 2 is primarily with Claire," Safran teased. "Hopefully Marcia [Cross] will come back, but it's more about the idea that she's out there and that she got away. It's like an itch that Alex and the others can't scratch."
