They had a nasty breakup and even nastier public custody battle but it looks like Ciara and her ex-fiance Future have finally put their differences to the side for the sake of their son, two-year-old Future Zahir Wilburn.

There's a new report that says the rapper has dropped his lawsuit against his baby mama because he's finally getting to spend a little more time with his tot. According to TMZ over the weekend, Ciara was the first one to file a lawsuit earlier this year for $15 million dollars with Future hinted that she might be a "bad mom." He then countersued her, but recently asked the judge in their case to dismiss it.

Apparently, Future is concerned about his son's well being and thinks that he's more important than a court judgment and that's why he's willing to play nice as long as Ciara doesn't restrict any of his custodial rights.

So far, Ciara herself has not made any comments about the case, although it's more than apparent that she's moved on with her life. She's currently engaged to NFL star Russell Wilson and has been traveling the world with her son and his future stepfather with them.

Ciara pulled the plug on her engagement to Future back in August of 2014, when it was alleged that he was cheating on her.
