Was Adam Lind really contractually obligated to attend the Teen Mom 2 season seven reunion?

While Lind claimed he only appeared on stage due to his contract with MTV, there may have been more to the story, as revealed in a new report.

“I’m here because I’m under contract and I have to be here,” Lind explained to host Dr. Drew Pinsky, according to a Radar Online report on Tuesday. “I’m done with the show. I don’t want to participate in the show anymore. I texted MTV that I didn’t want to come to f**king LA and they said you better get a lawyer to get out of your contract.”

Lind also said that the “money is not even worth it anymore” and claimed executive producer Larry Musnik said quitting the show would be a “breach of contract.” However, when Musnik was brought to the stage to speak with Lind directly, he claimed he never said a thing about any breach of contract.

“I looked back at the text messages backstage and I didn’t say it would be a breach of contract,” Musnik explained. “I said, ‘Honor your commitments because you made a commitment to the show.'”

Lind also spoke of leaving the show months ago on Instagram.

“I’m sick of being known as the guy from ‘Teen Mom,'” Lind wrote, via The Ashley's Reality Roundup. “But instead I’m going to be known for bodybuilding and fitness…I will not be filming…I fly out to NYC for Season 7 Reunion Show with their ‘stars’ and after that I’m done…I will be milking out for a free trip to NYC one last time so [my girlfriend] Stasia has the opportunity to see NYC for free. And then I’m out.”

“They already have been offering me more money…and also they are also wanting to do another show just for the fathers," he continued. "It don’t matter the amount of money anymore. I’m so much better than being bribed by money. I wasn’t raised to be greedy and sucked into this evil world.”
