Cardi B made waves as a fan favorite when she joined the cast of Love & Hip Hop New York for season six. But now her days on the show are over.

The breakout reality star stopped by HOT 97 recently and revealed that she is leaving the show. And while Cardi knows her star power, she said the show “didn’t really see it that way.”

“I just had to show them again,” she added.

She then explained that the Love & Hip Hop franchise’s creator and executive producer, Mona Scott-Young had a hand in it too.

“She was being funny with shmoney, you know what I’m saying. I got the bag right now.”

Another life change Cardi has made is calling it quits with her now ex-boyfriend, Tommy, who is serving time in jail. She said that they had been together for two years and while he is getting released next year, they are no longer together.

“We’re not getting married no more,” she said about the backlash she received when she once made it clear she didn’t mind marrying Tommy in jail.
She realized that if they get divorced, he will get half of her money. But all is not lost for the two.

“I have changed a lot but I love him. I like him. I really, really like him.”

When asked about a prenup, she said they can “come to some type of agreement” even though there is lots of drama between them right now.
