Those who were riveted by the behind-the-scenes look they got at life in prison on the first groundbreaking season of A&E's 60 Days In will still need to wait until August 18 to start seeing how the second group of prisoners fared behind bars, but the identities of the new undercover inmates have been revealed.

People Magazine has revealed the first names of the eight volunteers going undercover in the new season, following the first which saw a group of seven volunteers go in, with five completing their sentences in full and two ending theirs early.

It was previously revealed that season one participant Zac's wife, Ashleigh, was one of the volunteers this time around, with the reveal of her reasons being that she wanted to reinforce her own sobriety, which she has had for four years. The other seven volunteers are:

Dion:  24-year-old graduate student studying Criminology, Law and Society who wants to use the experience to help him with his career and a focus on helping teens in disadvantaged neighborhoods and help their lives for the better.

Ryan: 27, a medic who previously enlisted in the Army Reserve and who hopes to become a police officer.

Sheri: 39, a former corrections officer and now a stay-at-home mom to three daughters who hopes she will gain valuable information with the experience that will help her when she returns to work.

Monalisa: 49, has a daughter who is incarcerated. She started a national support and advocacy group for parents of jailed children before going in.

Quintin: 53, a retired police captain who now works as a private investigator and bounty hunter, who wants to see the inside of a jail through the eyes of an inmate.

Brian: 39, a Department of Corrections attorney who works with the Internal Affairs office during their investigations.

Chris: 25, has a brother who was once a convict, a situation he feels damaged his brother. He hopes to gain a better understanding of what the incarceration process is like.

60 Days In season 2 premieres on August 18 on A&E.
