Bloodline is officially staying in Florida for season 3, even though tax incentives in the state have ended.

Bloodline will continue to have its same location in the Florida Keys, Netflix CEO Ted Sarandos revealed at TCA press tour on Wednesday.

"Yeah, for sure," Sarandos confirmed, when asked if the show would stay in Florida, according to The Hollywood Reporter. "It's an iconic location. The one thing that's cool about Netflix shows is that those locations are characters. In the Hell's Kitchen shows like Daredevil, Hell's Kitchen is a character - we can't fake it in Canada. So tax credits are a nice offset but if it doesn't fit the creative, we're not going to chase it."

Florida offered attractive tax incentives for the show's first two seasons, allowing the Netflix drama to film on an affordable budget. There was some worry about whether Netflix would renew Bloodline for a third season due to these incentives running up this month, but the streaming service made the renewal a few weeks ago.

"Todd [A. Kessler], Daniel [Zelman], and Glenn [Kessler] have created a riveting family saga featuring one of the most talented ensembles in the history of television. We can't wait to see what the next chapter holds for the all-too-human Rayburns," said Cindy Holland, Vice President of Original Content at Netflix, in a statement for the renewal.

Season 3 will feature the return of stars Kyle Chandler (who plays John), Sissy Spacek (Sally), Ben Mendelsohn (Danny), Linda Cardellini (Meg) and Norbert Leo Butz (Kevin), though no other actors have been confirmed yet. The season is also expected to have 10 episodes, like season 2.

There is no word on when Bloodline season 3 will drop on Netflix, though based on the pattern of the first two seasons it will likely be around March, April or May.
