One of the most talented contestants on America's Got Talent opened up on his journey now that he's moving on.

On Friday, a video was released with jazz singer Daniel Joyner who brought the house down with his audition of the classic hit "Try a Little Tenderness." But unfortunately, it didn't work out with Joyner who was eliminated.

Even though he's not a part of the show anymore, that doesn't mean his career as a singer is over. If anything, this experience taught him quite the contrary.

"This experience has definitely confirmed what I originally thought, which is that I definitely want to be a singer for the rest of my life," Joyner said.

The performer also revealed what it was like watching himself on TV, which was less pleasurable.

"Watching myself on TV was very, very awkward," Joyner said with a laugh. "Because you can't stand hearing or watching yourself on TV. That's me."

Check it out in the clip below.

During Joyner's audition, he received four yes's from the judges who gave him plenty of compliments on his singing abilities as well as some constructive criticism.

Heidi Klum told him his performance was "beautiful."

She added, "I was a little worried in the beginning because you seemed a little stiff and a little nervous...but then, wow, when you started singing you felt right at home."

Mel B told Joyner, "You do have a really good voice. But you know what? I found you a little bit stiff. When you sing, let loose a little bit."
