There are new photos of what is said to be the central location for season 6 of FX's American Horror Story.

FX has been very secretive about American Horror Story's upcoming sixth season, even going so far as to not reveal the theme. But as the September premiere date inches closer, fans are getting more and more information through set photo leaks and cryptic teasers.

The latest photos, released by TMZ this week, feature a large, run-down Colonial-style house. This is said to be the main location for season 6, according to TMZ's sources, who add that regular stars Angela Bassett and Kathy Bates have filmed scenes in this house.

These photos certainly seem to relate to the previously released photos, which show a tree with the word "CROATOAN" etched into it. This is related to the Roanoke mystery, a.k.a. the Lost Colony, suggesting that this season may take place either in colonial times or in modern times with callbacks to the past.

On all accounts, FX has chosen to do things different in promoting the upcoming season of American Horror Story. Some actors like Bassett and Matt Bomer have teased their returns to the series, but showrunner Ryan Murphy has not openly confirmed any cast members thus far. He has also been very tight-lipped on the concept, only saying earlier this year that the new concept will involve "elements of children".

Then there's the promo teasers. While most of the trailers in seasons past have centered on the already-known theme, the promos for season 6 have been all over the place. From a bug crawling on a woman's head to a creepy farm in the middle of nowhere, there's no clear indication of the theme just yet.

American Horror Story season 6 premieres Wednesday, Sept. 14 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on FX.
